-50 cesta; gone or no?

is the -50 cesta gone? i've read several messages saying it has been removed from the game o_O

no u get it in a quest in ascalon...look for it its in the back by great northern wall down the steps...ull find it

Nope, I dont think it has, go to Symon the scribe and get the quest, although you dont see the exact specifications of your reward, its there

that said, i think its a real possibility they will be removed soon, maybe it would be a good idea to stock up on them? (in case they become like HoDs)

Why would they get rid of it? I personally don't want to have the feeling as if 1 million InvinciMonks all cried out all at once. :P

if they decided to remove the cesta, they would just take it from everyones inventory and everything, just like that Axe...SoA right?

Wouldn't think so, if they ever chose to ditch it, i imagine it would be discontinued like the HoD weapons.
If they don't like it anymore for whatever reason - discontinue
If it goes blatantly against the rules of the game - Remove

I don't think they will remove it. I know all the farming is not what they intended, but I think they gave the item a good thought when they made it. Just think about it. It's a pretty bad item when you're in Ascalon so why would they give it as a reward for a pretty hard quest.
In ascalon you have something like 200-300hp, a -50 item is very bad there. I think they have given the item some good thoughts when they made it. I think they're not gonna remove the item. Just think of the fist guy that made a Imonk necro or whatever maybe he went in to the HoH and got really far. The 55hp is for some good builds and should not be removed.
They have more succes if they nerf a skill like Spiteful Spirit in PvE. I think whatever you do there always is a way to farm. You just can't stop it. There are so many skills. There is just no freaking way that you can prevent ppl from farming.

I don't think they will remove the -50 health item. They seem to be just nerfing the places where 55 monks are used. Although they did nerf the one skill but they heven't nerfed any lately. Like the griffen farming is now gone, and they have the nightmares in UW. But it is possible tostill solo UW. But not nearly as easy. So they have no reason to nerf the item if they keep nerfing the farming spots.

I got the cesta yesterday. And griffarming is alive and well thankyouverymuch.

Made a new charcater and got the quest and item yesterday.

I dunno what is the reason, but when I wanted to do this quest i does not have it on all my characters so maybe you dont have it coz of same reason.

I got it only on my oldest char which got all missions and quest around ascalon done.
