My apologies..search is yet again disabled on me. How's the sickle market now that Victo's Battle Axe has been introduced? Do collector's still seek them out, or is it pretty moot now that a max green has been entered into the mix?

since the sickle market was all about the skin...unless you have a gold max dmg 13% something, it's likely worthless now

Its true that the sickle search was all about the kewl lookin skin. HOWEVER, there are still those that would love to find that elusive max dmg gold 15^50 Sickle, an axe with the skin AND that says Sickle.
Dont think that would ever exist but the idea of having a high dmg SICKLE is still an enticing thing to me...

Many people have forsaken victos axe in favour of the trusty razorstone, or even their own home-made 3/-1 vamp axe, see the 'why is sundering so prized' article for reasons behind this.
In light of this, maybe some people would be interested in an x^50 sickle as a replacement for lesser green axes

but how many of these have ever dropped...I can think of only one mention of a 12^50 near max one and that was a long while ago
that said I do like the skin...but not enough to use sundering...had to wonder why the hell they were being used in the finals for GWWC...just for show?

I don't think Victo's axe has hurt the sickle market at all...the collectors out there want rare skins no doubt, but they want ones you can mod, that is why greens really are not all that sought after. I promise you there are still tons of people farming for that elusive max damage sickle, I have only heard rumors of 1 that existed, as far as I know, no gold ones have been found yet, max damage or not, and if one was found, i believe it would be worth millions, so happy hunting.

Here's a cool scenario: Someone who has no idea how sought after sickles are, suddenly gets a gold max dmg. 15>50 one from the HoH chest or something, then sells it to the merchant.
