The 105 UW solo farming warrior.
Gun Pierson
Born out my other thread, here's my uw solo build so far:
- complete gladiator armor (the gladiator cap too)
- 5 superior runes (no sup vigor and no sup abs)
- runic shield +5 energy
skills:
- glad. defense
- Bon. defense
- riposte
- deadly riposte
- healing breeze
- prot spirit
- vigurous spirit
- mending
Didn't test it on the smites yet, feel free to add improvements.

intersting, altho I don't like the idea of using low hp warriors, I think I may try this.
One question, why have you changed your armor and shield vs the darknesses. Because of savage slash?

Nice one dude, keep up the good work

I am sketched out, I dropped the 15k or whatever into it yesterday and have had poor results, I always get drained of energy before my bonetti's gets up, or I get bonetti's up, have to use 20 energy to cast breeze and prot every 10 seconds (at least for breeze), between that, I have no extra energy for repostes. I don't know, I think I need some practice or some honing of the build here. Wish it wasn't 1k every time for me to try this

i dont care about w/mo soloing in uw, but if ur a w/mo using prot spirit, why not just use an energy focus? (or even the -55 one) your shield has no real use cuz ur damage is maxed out on 10 when hp is 105.
dunno if absorbtion stacks with prot spirit, if it did, use ascalon/knights boots and a -2 enchanted shield.

dunno if absorbtion stacks with prot spirit, if it did, use ascalon/knights boots and a -2 enchanted shield. The energy focus is something to work with. A 55hp warrior is just funny to play with and can withstand the smites part just as good as a monk. Sometimes I don't see the obvious, tx!
@ Amsterdam: Once you recognise the drill, you'll find the gaps to cast the ripostes.
attribute points:
- healing prayers: 9
- protection prayers: 8
- strength (+3)
- axe: (+3)
- hammer: (+3)
- sword: 5 (+3)
- tactics: 12 (+3) (+1)

Well actually because I'm lazy...It's a piece of cake to stand vs darknesses with a good portion of health and damage reduction bonuses. I get those from sup absorption, the ascalon helm version, and a shield -2(ench.) -2(tactics). So they practically deal no damage and you just kill them, no risks involved.

How do you deal with the Dying Nightmares and Rend Enchantment?

Let me give you a tip, don't waste tonnes of cash going into the UW to test your build. Go to Elona and test builds on the Minos, you can test damage and survivability by aggroing the 1st groups of minos. If you can stand in the middle of 10 or so Minos and then kill them the build will work in the UW vs Ataxee.

-Sinnr I see two options: hit and kill in time or run fast.
No seriously, you can kill them with two hits, otherwise run away till aaxtes stop following, so you can take out the nightmares without any prob. You can always stand behind the npc at the left, aaxtes can't hit you there.

I actually tried this out with some tweaks.
5 superiors (Must have Superior Sword, Tactics, Strength)
-50 grim cesta
All gladiator's armor
Sword with 20% longer enchantments
Bonetti's Defense, Healing Breeze, Protective Spirit, Gladiator's Defense, Riposte, Healing Signet, Mending, Balthazar's Spirit
Healing Prayers: 9
Smiting Prayers: 7 (for higher adrenaline gain from Balthazar's Spirit)
Protection Prayers: 10
Strength: 3 (0+3)
Swordsmanship: 8 (I have a req 8 sword) (5+3)
Tactics: 12 (9+3)
Cast Mending and wait for your energy to get to full. Now cast Balthazar's Spirit. Keep Protective Spirit on at all times. Keep Healing Breeze on. Be sure to keep attacking an aaxate so you gain energy from their ripostes and gain some adrenaline. Use Gladiator's Defense and Riposte when available. With Balthazar's Spirit, you'll be gaining adrenaline so if you're low (around 10), put up bonetti's defense so you recharge your energy.
Note* - If you're fighting an aaxate one on one, do not use healing breeze. Again keep attacking it so that you gain energy from their ripostes and adrenaline from attacking it. Use protective spirit, gladiator's defense, riposte, and bonetti's defense if you're low on energy until it dies. When your hp is around 25 or so, use healing signet (The aaxate never savage slash it. Don't ask why
. )
Note 2* - If you have less than 15 energy after a battle, take off mending and balthazar's spirit so you can recover. Recast mending at full energy and then cast balthazar's spirit again at full energy.
Change to your normal armor when fighting the grasping darkness since at most they'll be doing 3 dmg to you. Use gladiator's defense, riposte, and your sword to kill them.
With this build I was actually able to get up to the smites, but I only died because I switched to my normal armor thinking I can tank them

Riposte are both tactics. There is no need with these builds to have any attribute points in sword IMO. You would be better served spending the points in other areas with this particular build. Something like the following would help I think. I also think the that a combination of your builds would be best. Basically one drop heal sig from one and vig spirit from the other. - glad. defense - Bon. defense - riposte - deadly riposte - healing breeze - prot spirit - balthazar's Spirit - mending - healing prayers: 9 - protection prayers: 8 - smiting: 8 - strength (+3) - axe: (+3) - hammer: (+3) - sword: (+3) - tactics: 15 (11+3+1) The above gives only one dead attrib point. The focus offhand is a good idea but I would practice weapon switching when casting prot and breeze. A warrior can get to 44 energy with the req 8 healing ankh from the collector in Maguuma Strade and the +5 wand outside Nolani. When you need to recast them switch weapon sets (make sure your riposte and d. riposte have triggered), cast, the bons def to go back to 44. switch sets back and use the riposte combo while building addrenline. For a third set I am think but I am not sure that there is a max or close to max damage req 8 smiting wand. customize that and use it to kill the smites in 2 hits just like a 55 monk. Those are just suggestions. Nice job on the build and testing ![]() Dark Ken
I just wanted to point out that MeNoFat's build that was just posted works great and is very efficient! He was right in that healing signet was not necessary; you just need to be energy cautious when facing an aatxe one-on-one. I successfully made it to the smite crawlers with this build.

- glad. defense | - Bon. defense - riposte - deadly riposte - healing breeze - prot spirit - balthazar's Spirit - mending - healing prayers: 9 - protection prayers: 8 - smiting: 8 - strength (+3) - axe: (+3) - hammer: (+3) - sword: (+3) - tactics: 15 (11+3+1) Remember to keep swinging your sword to gain adrenaline from hitting the aatxe. With 8 in smiting prayers, you'll also be gaining adrenaline from Balthazar's spirit so you really shouldn't have a problem getting bonetti's up if needed. The only thing to note is one-on-one fights with aatxes. Try not to use deadly riposte unless it kills them as it wastes your energy and try to keep bonneti's on for energy. Use riposte as a free way to hurt the aatxe and gladiator's defense for damage. This 55 Warrior build also works nicely on Mountain Trolls, Desert Griffons, and Minotaurs as well. PS - To deal with the first nightmare you have to aggro the first group of aatxe on the left side of the stairs and position yourself inbetween the two ghosts. The aatxe will get stuck and enables you to recast enchants and rest up. Use a wand or a bow to safely kill the nightmare. ranna
Does it matter if i use droks armor?
volsungxiii
Nice, a unique approach to farming UW. Going to have to try this.
volsungxiii
How do you manage to deal with the aatxes' riposte? Oh, I see, protective spirit.
[FnG] Lazz
I don't suppose there is anyone here who uses a similar build, but with an Axe instead of sword?
Dark Ken
You need the sword for using Ripostes and Deadly Ripostes.
TimberOwl
Nice idea, but seems like too much trouble to go to with all those enchants. There are better builds out there.

It's just an alternative way to do UW solo. Not meant to be the most effective or quickest build.

Why would you go to all the trouble of getting to 105hp when there is a quite nice build that Racthoh made for soloing UW without spending almost 30k to set this build up

![]() ![]() After all. Its your skill not hours played that decides your fate! Weeping The more different builds the better, so peeps can try out what they feel like and even improve things. Using prot spirit is exactly the point of this build, like a monk would do but with a warrior. You can spend 3k on it or even 500k. You can get LA glad armor, 5 cheap sup runes, a collector off hand +12 energy and the collector +5 energy wand. total price will be less than 3k. Fun is what this build is about, trying things. And it's indeed fun to see that several people here made their own modifications and playstyle and share it with the community. Alexi Jotun
