Any new pets confirmed?

My first character was a Ranger...I've by far gotten bored with the lack of pets.

Probable ideas might include:

Mini Dragon
Differint Spiders
Bees? (3 Swarms were found in Presear)
Crocodile
Gorrila
Polar Bear
Wild Bull
Horned Elk
Goat

What are your comments, info, ideas?

I don't believe that ANet has said anything about new pets, just that there are some...a lot of people a expecting a panda bear or a monkey(something asain)

i wouldn't be suprized is their isn't a baby dragon or soemthing like that.

Gaile confirmed again in latest chat log that there are many new pets. She has a list and is waiting for approval to release some of the pet types, and hinted it may be this coming week.

Panda's would be pretty kewl, infact, if you could ride on animals, now that would be flippin sweet! =p

I would like to see a small drake, or maybe a scarab? Or a rockshot? Maybe an azure shadow? Something that was a monster that has somehow become a beast.

A yak. Big, shaggy, nearly unstoppable when charging. Yep, definitely a yak.

i will accept only one pet (maybe 2) and that is a flying pig with firebreath attack and afterburner rear end for fast escapes

i will name my steed PIGASASS

second choice is a flying purple people eater

I'd like pets for all classes.. (that are secondary ranger of course)
I mean at least that they match their owner's primary.

My choices.

Mesmer : One of the floating eyes or Mergoyles
Warrior : Bull / Drakes
Ranger : Devourer / Worms
Elementalist: Imps of every element.
Necro: HellHound / Ghoul / scales
Monk: Smitting Seed / lil griphon / shadows

Yeah i know... but dreaming is free (at least for now)

thats a cool idea , but I thinkthe ranger should have the ability to still carry an additional pet.
