^minimum requirements for ALL games. Plus some other handy info. Also tells you if your comp can handle a game. Check it out.

What's amusing to me is that my computer is a lot better than what is recommended and GW still runs like crap sometimes...

I used to play on an old laptop very similar to the minimum specs. If you turn all options to minimum, it's decently playable. A hundred times faster than other recent games, yet still slow and unexciting. Recommended specs are more than enough to play smoothly although you won't be able to turn all graphic options on.

Double the minimum if you actually want to enjoy the game. I played on a laptop with 256 RAM, everything else was about double the minimum reqirements and the game was laggy. As fast as things can happen in this game, smooth display is paramount. I'm sure it would have been much better with 512 RAM .

You can get some of the intel on-board chipsets to work but it won't look too pretty - http://www.guildwarsguru.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=35043
