So I went along to help a friend cap Barrage in Iron Mines. It's an all ranger work, Cept for me, I'm healing. The group worked very well, actually. How ever, when we get to where markis SHOULD be, we find this:

He's not there. Most of them went into panic mode saying things like "OMFG NO F'ING WAY!" or "WTF?! THIS IS BULL@$#%!!!"
So, we fight up aways to where Markis spawns, we get half where there, and what do we find? He's just standing there on the path. Not moving. Just standing there. Note our reactions:

Yeah, he's been doing that lately for some reason. When I was trying to get Leonich through that mission, I ended up doing it a few times because the groups I was with decided to give up when he wasn't at his normal location.

He most of the time spawns in his little den with his buddies, or spawns way the hell back with his Big bad Mursaat Buddies. If he spawns in the back, then why not do the bonus since your already over there =P

But yeah, I guess you can't blame him ... most of the time I was with an unorganized PUG, and it took us a while to get there. Perhaps he got tired of waiting around, and decided to go out for a beer with the Mursaat Elementalist ... *shrug*

Yeah.. I noticed the more realistic AI too.
Stefan is now a W/R, and you contantly see a cloud with "I Will Avange You!" above his head.
Little Thom is now a W/Mo, screaming "I'm using Mending!" in team chat.
Alesia is now a Healing Mo/W, with the usual 55Hp Monk gear, but she doesn't know why these items are good yet.
Lina was late, and is now a Mo/N, spamming Offering of Blood like mad.
Reyna got herself a Pet, but putting points in Beast Mastery wasn't nescascerry.
Dunham finally capped Illusionary Weaponry, but he doesn't get Wands aren't affected by IW.
And finally Orion. He decided to hide behind walls more, so he doesn't get hit by Ranged enemies. Then he spams Flare, but he didn't find out why he's not damaging anything. But if they're dead because of team members, he cast a nice Fire Storm on the bodies.
Also they've learned the common sentances like "OMFG HEALSSzzz!!!1" and "RESsZZS LOOOL". They even leave occasionaly.

LOL Maxie, i guess i didn't download that update. Whenever everyone dies, and only lina and alesia are left, instead of rezzing, the run back in forth, on our bodies, for about 5-10 minutes. I guess they got angry...

This happends because people run to the infuse and fail to trigger markis to run to his normal spot

Alot of people seem to think that, if he dosnt show up in his little "Den" that it is a glitch. But really all the game is wanting you to do is kill more Mursaat to get to him.
Dont forget, if you have to run back there and get him, you might aswell do the Bonus!

Anybody else try waiting for him at his end location? He does eventually show up there... I've always seen him either there (usually entering as most of my groups are not balanced for fast Shadows/Eidolon killing), or on his way there. And every time I start he is crossing the bridge over me the moment I get to the frozen water. Never seen him not show up, sometimes you just outrun him (easily), he really is that slow...

I fought through the whole mission today, didn't run through a single battle (went so slow that I didn't even see him cross over the bridge near the beginning), and he still wasn't at his proper spawn place - how could I have outrun him? I tried to fight to where the OP posted he'd be, but my 15 R/Me and the henchies lost the first battle after clearing "Markis's" fort. This is really annoying, honestly. You fight all the way to the end, then hope and pray that you didn't get a random spawn where Markis decides he wants to go sit in the middle of a Mursaat army.
