I've been playing a build similar to the one below around Riverside.

10 Fast Casting
11 Domination
10 Inspiration

-Arcane Thievery (Steal a random spell from foe, disabling it for them)
-Inspired Hex (Absorb a hex cast on self or ally, ready to be cast back at foes)
-Inspired Enchantment (Absorb an enchantment cast on foe, ready to be cast on self and allies)
-Arcane Mimicry (Absorb ally's elite skill, for use where fit)
-Plague Sending (Reflect condition to foe, effectiveness doesnt change with Curses attribute)
-(e)Echo (At the moment, I use Arcane Echo mostly for getting another interrupt ready to go, or for double chaos storms. My "theory" with this build is to be able to cast what I steal or absorb more often)

I'm not really sure where I want to go after those 6. For the moment I dont have Thievery so I'm using Power Spike (lowest recharge spell interrupt) Cry of Frustration, Arcane Echo, and Chaos Storm (PvE)/Leech Signet(PvP). Also dont use Mimicry at this point since no one really has elite skills.

"Do unto others..." with an extreme element of chance/luck is kind of the attitude of this build I suppose. Being able to cast any spell in the game and inflict any condition seems like a dream for support. The build im using now which is vaguely similar to the above is very fun (according to my pleasure receptors).

I used to play almost a pure interrupt build (both spells and skills). I don't mind having only 1 or 2 interrupt abilities, as it ensures you're always ready for high-priority targets. Having a few in there would mean I can still be useful when fate deals this build the wrong cards. Then again, I could keep the faith by going the route of endurance with mantra's of recovery or defense, or some energy management abilities.

Suggestions/comments would be welcome. I know this idea may seem retarded to some/most, but its what I'm wanting to play for the moment. Thanks.

Interesting build, but I see it being vulnerable to quite a few things. Warriors, for one, will be a big threat, so you really should bring some anti-warrior defense (I guess empathy is the only thing out of the domination line that works).

Also, I noticed with inspired enchantment that the effects of the enchantments you steal depend on your attribute levels. How useless is that? Let's say you steal healing breeze, you're gonna be able to use it as if you were a monk with 0 points in healing...very much a useless enchantment, and you're not gonna be stealing any good Me or N enchantments. I suspect it's the same case with arcane thievery and mimicry, so that would really cripple you.

You also have very little potential for damage and no healing or self-preservation, so you might have a hard time surviving in a less coordinated team. Personally, that build has too many weaknesses for my liking.

You would be correct, anything I steal or absorb goes to the lowest level. I suppose I didn't notice/think of that since what I had been absorbing wasn't attribute dependant. Looking over the skill listing, theres really not enough of these type of skills to justify using. Even accepting an element of luck...well, theres just not enough of a chance. This build seems reduced to something akin to a dispeller with a small chance for inflicting status (for example, when a skill has knockdown plus some attribute dependant timer or damage).

If only there was some kind of elite skill that raised universal attributes while lowering others...suppose that would be the only way such a build could be viable.
