Ok I was on my w/me doing a solo IDS run, I was in Talus Chute fixin to zone into Mineral Springs

I while im heading towards the zone I see the Avicara on the other side of the zone, im like ok thats kinda weird

but then not only do I see them on the other side of the portal, they run straight the dam thing and start to attack me!

Anyone had this happen to em before?

PS: sorry for no screenshots, I was too shocked to think to take a SS

jep, happend to me to, also had it that i wa skilled by conjures in the last few meters, then the avicara came and started attakcing the stone summit.

Ive had this happen to me before, just not where you were. I was farming
Ettins in North Kryta Province, and when I went to the Portal (by the Pig quest), the Ettins were on the other side of the portal.

This has happened to me as well. It was in NKP though and i was rezoning for an ettin run when the tengu from Nebo Terrace ran through.

Those Ettins on the other side of the portal are spawned there for the Prize Winning Hog quest (or whatever its called). When you start moving the hog those Ettins come out of there in groups and start walking up the road to where the hog is. If you complete the hog quest you'll never see those Ettins there again.

Theres also anouther place (Iron Horse Mine I think) where a single minotaur will come through from the opposide side of the zone and will come running, usually with your back to the portal. :P

Yeah i seen this before and with the latest patch nothing is fixed. Still has the glitch where these bird things come running pass the portal to attack you.

Happened to me too once on the same run. I wasn't soloing, but doing a 5 man run. We were all like, "WTF!?!?"

I have also seen this in NKP, although contrary to Charrbain's post, I have had the Ettins run through several times even after completing the prize-winning hog quest.

I've also seen this on IDS runs, and in the area where the reversing the scales quest is done. Sometimes Mergolytes will run through the zone. I guess it is not considered an issue in-game as it seems to happen quite often in several locations.

No i've never been able to zone from Talus Chute to Mineral Spring. That's some weird stuff going on in your game.

Really? After doing the hog quest with 3 characters I've not seen those Ettins again.

This happens to me alot when running people from Warcamp to Granite Citidel. About one out of 10 spawns, the patrol that is supposed to approach from the hill is on both sides of the portal - as you load the map, you are being attacked...lol

Yeah. Not everytime though. Its just been random. No biggie though, its not like they are that hard to kill.

Whats funny about this is that if you wait, the creatures will walk right through zones and aggro you. If you run through the zone, they won't be there.

Yep this happened to me all the time during the IDS craze. But 1 time in particular they were my heroes. As you probably know, if you're gonna solo with a warrior/mesmser you can try to sprint past the stone summit, but the dolyak mesmers will cast I forget which slow down hex on you and you can't sprint so usually you die. Well I almost made it through the portal when I got killed.

To top it all off, the timer was counting down and the patrol just got back so I was panicking because I knew for sure that once I rezzed, they would aggro and start attacking me. To top it off even further, I watched as an avacari patrol showed up at the portal. Here I thought, well that's it. Gonna hafta start this run over.

Then a miracle happened. The avacari came to my aid and started attacking the stone summit. Thus when I spawned I just ran past them all without so much as a scratch and zoned.

Damn I love those ninja chickens.

But that's never happened to me before, until yesterday... so I'd figure it must be after an update?
