How can it have Sundering AND Icy hilts?

I thought the hilt was un-changeable like the FDS?

it is not changeable.... and does not have sundering

The Icy Dragon Sword deals cold damage as default does it not?

Normal IDS 15^50 goes for 20-25k
The +30 Pommel goes for about 55k.

So it depends on if someone wants to use the sword as it is or if they want the pommel off of it for some other sword.
