Illusion

I finished Thunderhead Keep with all Henchies. They are a HEAP better than most people that do that mission, kinda sad actually.
Gunz Blazing Smile
Sad to say that henchies are actually better most or at least some people. I've beaten Thunderhead also with henchies. It just seems that henchie AI has finally meet requierments that people normally don't have.
Illusion
sadly its true people run through about 5 different groups and end up killing the team while henchies just follow you =)

I've beaten every single mission and quest in the game on two out of three characters with henchies. I've just played with thm so much I can easily manipulate them to do what I want, they are MUCH better then real people mainly because they can stay on target. The only problem with henchies is fighting that damn Aura of Faith Monk boss in Abbadons Mouth, Ring of Fire or Thunderhead Keep(Ouch), just because he takes forever to kill unless your character is anti-caster. On a Healing Monk it takes ages though.
MadOnion
I've done ~90% of missions (from 4 characters) with real people, but I think I'm now beginning to see the light (espeically for cap groups! I can't believe I once went with humans to cap a skill). From now on, unless I see I guild group, I'm just going to go with henchies.
Diablo???
The henchies are so good, sometimes they're even better than me, I had to let them kill all the mobs and come back to rez my sorry butt.
yangster
I've beaten Hell's Precipe with just henches. It took a while but I did do it.
Manic Smile
Did the last fire isle quest and bonus with henches
Tsunami Rain
Bait. For solo IDS runs
Saborath Gilgalad
My "Best performance from Henchies" was when I beat the last mission in the game with them; Hell's Precipces. We had to take take the long way round but, on the up side of things they followed targets and we had to rez just twice. Which is much less then I had to do with real people. Some people bad mouth the henchies but in some cases there better the actual people.
thunderpower
My best performance with henchies was today in HA. Guildies and 4 henchies won 3 in a row, 1 flawless ag balanced and iway (lucky eoe bomb).
Actually it's a fact, henchies are better than many players in the game. Sadly, bad players with better skill combination outdo henchies just because of the skills.
I would like to finnaly get lvl 20 hanchies with customisable skill/armor sets.

There are far too many to count. Most notable would be THK with bonus, and every capture on the Ring of Fire Isle.
SnipiousMax
I beat the last mission with Henchies and one other Player...I think it was a fluke though, but at least they all attacked the called target instead of only attacking "the biggest guys first!"
Ole Man Bourbon
The 2 Monk Hench were MUCH better than any PC Monks I'd gotten for the RoF mish on a recent cap run for myself. I mean, it wasn't even close, and the PCs were better than average. It was rare to see someone's health drop below about 95%.
I guess the Hench pwn the RoF mission.

Kook~NBK~
I beat all three RoF missions with henchies with my first character (a R/E.) But that was before the AoE nerf - was MUCH easier to get through the gates on the RoF & Abbadon's mouth missions then.
From My experience, it takes longer to do missions/quests with henchies than it does with a good PUG. But I guess that's part of the risk/reward thing that comes into play with GW.

I recently did Iron Mines mission with my healer and henchies. I cleared the map with no major problems, even stumbled onto the bonus and did it.
A few hours later I did the same mission with my ele and humans. It was long, frustrating, and gruesome.
I use henches about 80-90% of the time so I've gotten use to their little quirks. People are a different story. I've been in groups where everyone just seems to be in synch with each other, and I've been in groups that couldn't make it 2 minutes outside town before they split up and attack different mobs- and then yell at me cause I didn't heal the guys half a screen away.
My worst henchie moment-Right after the newest update I was capping my ele in Dragon's Lair and got to the mana-drain lvl, then all my henchies went left and kept running. Right thru the cave wall. I died alone and abandoned.

yeah hench are great, i did every mish with them apart from abbadons mouth and hells percipice.at least u dont get bad mouthed from henchies if u do something wrong or rez te wrong person lol. i totally enjoy the game more with hench.
General Surena
Henchies get special treatment. It saddens me more seeing them fall in the midst of the battle than most egoism-infested PUGs where everyone would prefer to go alone but cannot since the overall notion they blindly adopted says: "Henchies suck". Now don't tell me I am playing Freud again. No No, the really bad and good thing is you already smell people's attitude before and in the beginning of the missions/quests. Most don't set roles, positions, target-callers. Come one, it doesn't ages and it makes people feel more comfortable in their role.
Dazzen
Well, i've done all missions at least once with a full hench group, THK is not the hardest for me.
For my part, my best performance with henchies was to clear the iron mines mission with a full hench team BEFORE the hench infusion patch (meaning i was the only one infused when figthing the jades). And cleared all the jades/mursaat on this mission.
Abaddon's mounth was next in my memory

Oh there's plenty of quests/missions where they have proven to be excellent team mates. To name a few:
Villainy of Galkath : If (when) we wiped it was mostly my poor decisions.
Thunderhead keep: I did it before it was changed, at least i have heard something has happened to it.
Ring of Fire: Took the long way instead, pretty smooth only bad aggro issue with imps caused some problems
Monks path: oh man, the healer saved the day here big time.
And others i cant remember them all now, but they can be impressive. I cant put one above the other, because they just rock. The hardest was the undead zerg mission, it wasnt their fault. In the end we beat that too.

The best performance i've had from Henchies has to THK did it first try, went back to do bonus with real people... died horribly really quickly. Iron Mines was also a good one, cleared the whole place, with henchies, only one that died was Orion(but he always dies). henchies are a godsend lol
ramma77
Did most missions with Henchies. Depending on the character i was on the only one i struggled on was Thirsty River when trying to get the monk boss and the Priest they just healed each other. Got the priest down with seconds to go.
I actually think thunderhead Keep is programmed to be easier if you have all Henchies. I was attacking mobs and they didnt seem to do anything.

A few guildies were having a random invite ranger spike, Ive never played as a rspike but i kinda knew what skills to take. I took two preps, didnt know they dont overlap. We also took a healer henchie and a mage henchie. One of the guys didnt have his attributes set properly. We kill the ghosts and 4, we map straight away to hoh. We wait for the 2 min mark, go in, interupt their ghosts, we cap altar.
And the mage, godbless her, keeps spamming firestorm on the altar, and we win hoh. My first time ever, and we did it with henchies. GO HENCHIES GO !

The reason henchies are so far superior to PuG's is because when you pick a target they attack that target. The only real downside is when you die, they have a hard time picking a good target to attack. The fighters usually end up on the same target, with the ranger on another, the cultist usually just stands around at this point, and both monks attacking a third target (and none of them bother to waste a res on the only human player).
...anyhooo
I like henchies
Big_Iron
Geez, I can't think of one, but I'm sure if I put my mind to it I could. I really just wanted to say I love this thread.
Naxohs Seralna
I managed to do RoF on my prot. monk with henchies.
Oh, and I capped Restore Condition with henchies (for those of you who don't know, it's located in the Abaddon's Mouth mission). That was tough, but it's a damn nice elite!

I've generally gone my missions mainly with humans, but a lot of capping and city-to-city travel with henchies. Capped almost all of Perdition Rock with henchies, although I got frustrated and had help from another human bumping off Harm Coldstone (who can only be realistically beaten with a lot of physical damage or else skillful interrupting, since he's the Obsidian Flesh guy).
I find myself saying "Stupid henchies aggroing #&%$)#!" about as often as I say the same thing about "Stupid people."
Henchies are usually worse about getting out of Wells, however, which is an annoyance in Sorrow's Furnace. Now if I could just get Devona to put away the stupid hammer and hold the gear!

Diablo???
The only place I'm having a hard time with henchies is Mineral Springs, some how those birds know henchie monk likes to tank.
Fungus Amongus
I have done much with henchies. I have also failed horribly with henchies. When I fail I can usually trace the failure to myself.
My best hench moment was in THK. I did it a bazillion times with PUG's just as many others have. I finally attempted it with henchies and kept goofing on target calling. The next attempt I called the targets and stuck to them and THK was easy.

so far the best performance ever was ice caves mish where the henchies were amazing. i failed the first time but thats cuz i was a retard and tried to kill mersaats and those other crystal thingies (forgot names). the second time i beat the mish with incredible ease
Yogi's Pain
For some reason I like to go as blood spiker as well with henches. More fun than MM and easier to call targets then with Spiteful.
One thing I would like to see is for each one to carry a res sig. Would be great if they could cast them like the Zaishen do in their challenges.
