Ele - Fire skills lower my max energy

Hey, i've tried talking to arena.net regarding this but they keep telling me to ask in the forum regarding this because it's a skill feature or whatnot.

Let me explain, when i use meteor storm or some other fire skill, my Max Energy gets lowered, not just the numbers but the Dark Blue background shrinks, revealing a gray background.... the dark blue bar does regenerate but it takes some time. I can still use skills.. some lower the bright blue bar exposing the dark blue bar.... some of the other skills lower the dark blue bar even more.........

The only help i've gotten from Arena.Net, is as i've said, ask in the forum, it's a skill thing... a skill thing? x_o;; What? Where in the skill description does it say that my max energy will be lowered instead of my regular energy?

Oh don't get me wrong, even if i have a large dark blue background, i can't use a skill that lowers it unless i have enough normal energy to activate the skill.... wtf is up with that?

Yep, it's a drawback of some skills called exhaustion. It lowers your maximum energy by 10, but slowly wears off over the course of 30 seconds. Exhaustion stacks, so you have to try to keep the use of such skills to a minimum if you're fighting a long battle.

Not every Fire Magic skill causes exhaustion, only those which say so in their description.

They realy do say so in their description, that must be new? I've never seen it before. Why couldn't just arena.net say so *sigh*. Thanks for the information, atleast now i know.
