Sick And Twisted Guild Strat!

This BWE I got to have atleast a good 5 guild matches by the end of it. And got to see the new battle options. And in one of our matches we got owned by the strangest build.

I fogot the guild name so srry.

NOw there build was actually quite simple.

2 monks - both healed but one used phoenix and the other guy was using protection prayers.

5..yes 5 mesmers!!!- all I know is that a couple of them focused attack us with IW..but I personally felt the hell of my own poision against me. I use the mindwrack build and am dam proud of it. But this guy's version of the mindwrack build was like almost godly. He killed me in a matter of 47 seconds. I think thats not that fast, but I did put up a fight until out of no where I got inudated with hexes. And with epedemic, panic, and shatte delusions.

1 necro- this guy used curses off the roof and a couple of death skills.

Now IMO I htink if I knew what I knew now we might have been able to beat them by spreading apart. Becuase alot of these skilsl require crouds. also the first thing thast died on our team was our 3 monks..and after words they started killing anybody who had even the slightest hint of monk on them (what a horrible monk genocide)..but IMO there were probably trying to stop healing and res. But maybe if we went for there monks first and then went for the mesmers, we might have one. ANd since I think they worked with teamwork, wat we needed to probably do was single them out 1v1.

So I was just wondering what you guys would do to defeat this build and if its actually a really good build that I should start trying to work on.

C'mon, 47 seconds... That's just not that good no matter which way you put it. I think when you got hit with those hexes it was probably more than just this one character. The team you descirbe sounds like they had some nice teamwork and solid builds, but I'm sure it wasn't anything "godly."

Hmm sounds like a Build our(TSL - The Shadow Lords)Guild tried out this weekend.. Made several changes to it off and on.. It did prity good..
lol like you said its is a Strange group build, and it works once you get use to how the build works.
If it was us that he fought.. Then this statment is ohh so very true..
TS(Teamspeak), team work and knowing what your doing with great 'Target Calling' for the assist train, can realy make your group alot more effective..

There is alot more to the group he tried to describe... Its a fragile build but when played right can cause some fast dmg and wins.. lol Who knows though might not have been us. Anyone else run a group that looked like this?

47 Seconds isn't very fast, try Gates of Tyria mission or Lions Arch mission, the undead will kill you two times over in 47 seconds. And were you counting how long it took? 47seconds sounds a bit precise....or were you just guessing at 47 seconds?

does your team carry any hex removal skills?

Ya, hex removals, interrupt spells to stop the hex's before they start and healing breeze won't go a miss.
