Hi, I'm new to the forums but I figured since I got so many great builds off of this site, I figured I'd give something back. I created a 55 monk and was looking for places to farm when I came across the Ring of Fire misison. I realized pretty quickly that the Mursaat casters were too much to handle for the build I had. I found that the Jade Armors and Bows could be easily defeated, though. After a little tweaking, this is the build that I came up with.

Monk/Elementalist

1.Protective Spirit
2.Healing Breeze
3.Flame Burst
4.Inferno
5.Flare (For dealing with pesky single enemies that don't die when they're supposed to)
6.Mending
7.Balthazar's Spirit
8.Essence Bond

This is a pretty straightforward 55 setup for a monk, the main difference is the reliance on the fire magic line to deal damage. The ideal group is 4 jade armors and 2 jade bows. Make sure to stand close enough to the bows to hit them with your attacks, but don't get too close to the other casters. I know that there isn't an elite skill in the build, but I can't really see where one would go or what it would be. As long as you don't get near the casters, spam PS and HB, and make sure there are enough enemies attacking you to trigger BS and EB, you should be fine. If anyone else tries this build, I'm curious to know how it works for them. Good luck!

maybe you could go mo/n and take ss, instead of those spells. it does nice dmg and it requires only 1 skill slot. just a suggestion.

most people here would probably prefer having 1 "attack" skill over many but if it gets the job done....

Yeah, I tried SS but I didn't like it when the armor that I used it on suddenly stopped attacking, or when it wasn't standing close to the rest of the armors... but I guess either one would work, I personally like the fire route though. I could probably get away with only using flame burst, since its the fastest recharging, but with the unlimited energy from all the hits, I'd think it would be more effecient to use the 3 attack skills instead of just SS, but I'm not sure.

i'd use SOJ for farming ranger/warrior bosses.

Shield of Judgement
Arcane Echo
Mending

Ive tried tons of different combos and I found that the only ones required to keep are: Protective spirit, Healing breeze, Mending, and Balthazars Spirit.

Attribute points:

13 Healing
15 Smiting
12 Protection
5 Divine

I Currently hunt inside the ring of fire mission, You can find 9 Jade armors/bows and tons of other muursat right at the beginning. This build works well for the same thing... Muursat Soloing post . You can kill all of the Jade armor/bows in the beginning of ring of fire in one big group.
