What do you think? Should i Buy FoW armor (currently 53 ectos and 100 shards) or should i wait untll chapter 2 to come out and buy chapter 2 armor?
I do think theres going to be a new armor called Phantasim Armor.

But if it helps, ask yourself this.. "Will I regret buying the FoW armor when I see the new cool(er) looking armor they will have in Factions?"
Factions is still about 2 months away.. and you have 52 ectos to go and 5 more shards.. so you still got some time to think about it..

heh I'm in the same boat, I have one finished char and 5 waiting. I'm gonna stick to droks armour; that way I wont hate myself if I buy fow (want necro and monk fow, others want 15k) and then a 15k cantha armour comes out that looks far better. Droks gives all the protection I need and I can wait til pictures are posted. And who knows, you might even get armour with slightly different modifiers in factions that you'd prefer.

Like others have said - its up to you! If you really really like the armor, go for it, I mean if you think its the coolest armor ever - Then sure, If you just like it and wanna wait and see what chapter 2 has in store, then wait

doubt it, unless they're in 'low' level areas. There's bound to be some new looks for existing chars... and if not i'll send my strider after them

I've been debating over buying 15k Glads for my female warrior, or waiting for factions. Due to that screenshot, I am deffinatly waiting.

According to a magazine article in Computer Gamer (I think thats where it was, I'm at work right now and can't check), each class has 7 new armors in Cantha and I would expect something akin to FoW armor in Cantha so that people can have a similar gold / time sink without owning CH1.

If you look at the factions armor and think you might like them then don't. If it were me I would save the items in case. That way you can choose AFTER it is released instead of before.

I've been wondering what the new currency for high-end Factions armor would be too. I'm also in a bit of a bind......my gold is pretty much maxed out, my inventory is full of mostly greens, and I can't really do much more other than buy ectos with what I sell from farming, though I'm not really into blowing it on armor that functionally has no advantage.
I'll try to bide my time until Factions comes out and see.....not only armors but I hear there might be jewelry and new faces to sink gold into.

I'm holding out for Chapter 2 to see what they look like. I only just recently acquired enough for my first 15K set and don't want to blow it all on a Grotto set without at least considering Factions armor sets.
