This was very bad timing to have issues. I just joined a new guild and we went into Heroes Acent to PVP and at the zienshen's about 20 seconds into battle my computer froze. I had to hard shut down. When I booted back up I checked my video card but it was cool. Thinking it was a spoof I went back in and made it past the NPC's, but the next time we faced them the same exsact thing happend . I just reloaded my machine about 2 weeks ago because I got a new hdd. I'm thinking that it is TS (this guild has the largerest TS I have ever seen. There is like 100+ rooms) that is doing this, but any other suggestion would help.

My system:
Windows XP Pro
case 80mmfan (front)120mm fan (back)
120GBhdd
nvidia 6800gt
3.2 Northwood HT CPU
450w powersuppy

other notes:
Ran a ad-aware it found nothing but cookies.
I also checked the msconfig startup and found realplayer.exe and a quicktime.exe that I removed.

Yes it happened twice in the same place. When you go against the NPCs in HA about 10 secounds into the match. Which makes me think that it is the game. The computer locked up not the game (I didn't recieve a ERR 7) which makes me think that it is the computer.

I have the AGP version.

I have the latest version of nvidias Driver, I was going to try to see if it happens again. If it does I'll reload the Driver. I'll keep an eye on the fan, but I dont think that is the case.

1 Go to your desktop, right-click, 'Properties', Settings, Advanced, go on the nVidia/GeForce tab and go on the options for 'Image Quality' set them to 'High' if there not already done so.

2 Try rolling back a version or 2 on your Drivers.

3 Not working yet? Un-install Guild Wars, and try the Client from the Website.
