Is it beneficial to have 1 piece of armor from both the Knights & Ascalon sets? Do you get global reduced damage from both or is it from just one or the other? It seems theres some conflicting posts on this topic (and im not asking if these reduce damage globally. I know that usually spawns quite a debate!). Thanks guys.

Instead of asking the people here who are most likely speculating and will probably shoot you down, go test them. Put on just the knights boots and your normal armor and record the damage you recieve. Then put on both pieces with your normal armor and see if the damage reduces by 1.

The damage reduces by 2 from Knight's/Ascalon. And yes, it's best if you test yourself.
