Group Drop Changes?

I got bored of running yesterday with my warrior, so I decided to do some "Queen Farming" around Augry with my MM. I got a group of 4 in Augry and we did about 5 runs together.

During those 5 runs I would say approx 95% of the drops that I got were for my primary profession "necro". Did I miss something in the update, or were the drop chances changed for when your in a group vs. solo farming? It was quite refreshing to get a large number of drops that applied to my profession. Has anyone else noticed this? Maybe it's just a coincidence.



edit: It's probably because the scarabs are dropping necro items.

Actually I think it might have more to do with the type of monsters you were fighting. The Marrow Scarabs are necromancers I believe, given that they use the one Well. Therefore it stands to reason that necro monsters would drop necro items more often, just as ranger monsters tend to drop more bows.

That would be because scarabs are necromancers, and tend to drop necromancer stuff

never mind, i thought you asked why more stuff dropped for you, including swords etc...you're talking necro only stuff

griffons and minos still drop swords, axes and shields. the devourers drop bows, and scarabs drop wands.. kind of a nice balanced drop.

Queen farming... oh, oh... I missed something. Tell me more.

i wish, my r/me has gotten max swords, axes and hammers, but do you think they can give me a single max damage bow? noooooooo

You and I need to trade karma. My warrior get bows, bows, and then some more bows. Max damage, yes. White, Blue, Purple, Gold. Bows everywhere.

Gargash Thronbeard? He's my buddy. He can't wait to give his crappy bows to me when he dies. I'm sure if I had a party of 50 henchmen I'd still get them.
