Well, because I look evil after being quoted twice...I just wanted to add that I looked through all the a/me skills I could find(including new ones) to find there was no attack speed booster. There are interesting skills though, its an okay combo, frag a/me is better.

An assassin's power comes not from the attack speed, but from what each attack causes through the skills on the bar. There is an order to attacks for Assassins. Simple melee is not enough. And IW kills an assassin because your skills will never hit, and therefore their effects never come into play.
