Question Concerning Infusing
Tidus the one
Last week, my guild faced a "ranger spiker team" and I infused my ally. But for some reason, i ended up wasting half of my life and my ally's health still stayed the same. Could you guys explain this to me? is it a glitch or am i infusing too late? (he was still alive after the infusion thanks to the woh monk)

He was probably spiked for the amount you healed right when you healed him.

all 4 rangers had spiked then i infused...But nothing happened.

if this is the only time it happened, there's nothing to worry about. For all we know, the above could've happened, or it could be some party window bug or something.
not understanding what you mean by this.
edit: i fail with BBCode

Well, TBH, if a WoH monk beat you to it, it probably should have been too late. However, I'd guess you healed and assumed it was the WoH or you healed first.
Diablo???
If the person your infusing your health to, has a temporary hp boost (ie. Endure Pain...), It might have been the boost losing it's effect. And those effect are not showned in real-time, not until their hp changes by damage or heal... like when a minotaur's endure pain wears off, his hp doesnt actually decrease until you strike him again..
just a theory.

I used infuse last night for a few runs out and about, it seemed to work fine for me. sorry
JR
You had the wrong party member selected.
Tyrent Frath
ditto, just tried a couple of times in PvP, worked fine.

If you say it didnt heal him for anything.. You sure you had points in healing?
(Silly question but.. sometimes.. i wonder )

Infuse Monk save my butt for many times, So yea Go to Random Arena practice your Infuse ...
A good Spike is hard to infuse imo, Especially Ranger Spike , In one to two secs delay one of your party member drop even b4 u have a chance to heal him...
Don't never ever Infuse , when u are getting attack ... Guardian , RoF ... and Kitt

their has to be a glitch in the skill.. i dont know how many times it has happened to me( to many times actually!!) that i know i hit infuse and i know i have them selected and i know I HIT INFUSE!!.. what comes up?? Invalid target or something like that... all my friends say this also happens to them as well.. spikes that r super duper easy to catch dont get infused because of this invalid target...

the invalid target thing has happened to me before, i assumed it was lagged response in the health bar as he died a second or so later

There have been a few times when I infuse too late and even though he dies before I can finish casting, I still lose half my life. but I've never seen a time when my ally is still alive but doesn't get infused and I lose half health. If it was a blood spike I think it could've been possible that they spiked off the same ammount of health that you infused, but I've never seen R-spike do that much dmg. Was your health at full when you infused?

Sometimes during a GVG a players health would go down, and we would yell how he died? Than on vent he says he's still alive, but on party shows dead. If your teammate stayed at same health after using infuse has to be a bug.

It is possible to "infuse too late"
It's happened to me several times, and I've seen it happen to countless others. It's most prevalent during ranger spike, because of the speed of the spike. When you sacrifice health to infuse, there is a TINY tiny delay between which the health is sacrificed and transfered, I'm sure the dev's meant for it to be instant. Ranger spike can indirectly exploit this because of how fast and how well timed a good spike is. So if you infuse someone that has sub~ 20 health and they are hit with an arrow between the time which the health is sacrificed and the health is transfered, the spike victim will die and you will still lose half you health because you have still sacrificed health.
Of course, I think you're trying to say that he wasn't low on health when you infused. If this is the case and the ally's health wasn't that low but he wasn't healed, then you probably had the wrong target selected. If not, it's some weird bug, but I doubt it.

Ah yes. even with no healing he would still have infused 100% of what he lost. i withdraw my comment about no healing then

I've never experienced this problem myself - I've had the problem where I would infuse a target a bit too late but would still lose half the health but that's about it
yesitsrob
and bumped... I was in tombs today and experienced the same problem with infuse health the op is referring to.
Twice when I cast infuse, I lost half my health and did not heal the target anything (yet he managed to stay alive because the spike was not good enough) - but my infuse did nothing to him... there does appear to be some form of bug with it
