"materials" guy in crystal desert

I remember seeing a materials guy in the crystal desert, who could forge rare crafting materials (not the same as a materials trader in towns), such as Deldrimor steel ingots. I need to find him now to get some rare crafting materials, but I don't remember where he is specifically.

Quickest way is to exit the oassis, and head NE. You'll find a zone line halfway accross the map, at the very northen edge.
Once in the next zone, head roughly north untill you come accross a large stone arch, with a collector and a gaggle of hydras patrolling. Let them do their thing, go into the arch and beyond. curve to the north untill you find windriders, then some wooden platforms, and finaly scarabs. You can't miss him.
I recall seeing other material crafters around. One right outside the Sanitarium for the less esoteric stuff like parchment, steel, and the like. The other one is in the Ascalon foothills, close to the travellers vale zone line. He's at the foot of one of those god shrines. He could craft some rare stuff, like glass vials, ink and clay bricks.

thanks, that did help a lot. I'm actually looking for someone who can craft "Bolts of Damask" (I originally thought the material guy Sennat Sen had them, but I was wrong.)

hmm I found a materials guy at Mineral Springs, but he doesn't say anything when I talk to him (no dialogue window or anything). Could it be that this guy was supposed to craft the bolts of damask but is bugged?

The only one in the Crystal Desert with the materials needed to craft your rare armor is in the Arid Sea. Check out this screenshot:
Ignore all the dots I followed to get there, I was exploring the map at the time. The portal exactly next to me is the southern passage from the Arid Sea into the Vulture Drifts. The portal even further to the east (left) is the portal into the Dunes of Despair (from Vulture Drifts, obviously). The portal at the top is the northern portal from Vulture Drifts to Arid Sea.
