When you first enter the game (post-searing, is what I belife it is called), why do I see some players with different armor (e.g. a warrior has different looking armor than you usually start out with). I have looked around all of the post-searing landscape and areas, and I cannot find an armor crafter. I was just wondering because I want my mesmor to have one of those cool robe things.
Thanks

You aren't looking around enough. There is a merchant's row in the Old Ascalon city when you get through the sear and you can get armor from them if you have brought enough salvaged stuff and gold.

But Before the Searing, I see people with it there...
*Edit*
And in mercants row, after the searing, I still cant find the set that I keep seeing on other people, all i can see (at the armor crafter) is roges set and fashionable set...

That would be pre-searing then. They get it from collectors.

Most likely the armor you are seeing is from further in the game. It is really easy for a high level character to return to Ascalon. Some of the end-game armors are quite a bit different that the beginning armors (Looks wise)

Quick tip! Check out the level of the player. Most of the Level 15 and above will likely have different looking armor than what's available in Ascalon.
