10k? or 10 mil?
if you talking 10k, then you got a long way to hit the major leagues. The richest players are considered those that have inventory full of cash (1 mil gold) and each character has 100k on them (max capacity). Then on top of this those that are even "richer" have lots of Ectoplasm and Shards, along with very rare, high end expensive items... All that combined can give a guy an upwards worth of several million gold...
I have sat at only half a million (500k) gold for quite a while now. My first 200k was earned due to farming, selling items. The money after that, simply playing through the game!! =P

That's what I hover around too, around 500K. I can never seem to get more...I've already gotten to the point where I'm "investing" my cash. I don't bother selling common crafting materials, but instead craft rares. All of the rares. I figure they'll be more valuable then they are now someday, and being one of the "rich" guys in the guild, I like being able to make purchases for members, and help out the new guys now and then.
My total net worth in items and material + cash is probably over 1 million for sure. (when I get REALLY bored of GW I can always E-bay everything to get my money back for buying two accounts) <--JOKING.
Wait. Make that 1.1 Million. I just realized I probably have around 100K worth of dye alone...I've saved almost every one I've ever found since I started playing 9 months ago.
