I don't know but i was in some other game forum. They did not allow editing in the selling section because people could edit their bids/prices.

Dunno.

Was that a suggestion? "Dunno" isn't really a suggestion, but I'm going to assume from your observation of "some other game forum" that you're suggesting we disable editing of posts in Ventari's Sell.

Personally, it sounds like a bad idea to me. It's a pain in the arse to have to read all the way through a thread with a list of items offered at the top to see what's still available and what isn't. It's very nice to have people be able to go back and edit their older posts with more up to date information.

And the downside is... what, exactly? I see the good side of letting people go back and edit their prices, bids, offers, etc. No need to post a second time to retract an offer, make changes, etc. Ultimately, it's not what's posted here that determines how much money or loot is exchanged, it's really just a way to match people up in-game to actually complete transactions, so there's no possibility of scamming or the like here. If someone offers 3000, then goes back and edits their offer to 2000, and you're not willing to sell for that, then don't!

Can you point out a thread currently on the forum where this caused a problem, or is this purely a hypothetical problem? This is too great a feature to disable without some good solid evidence that it really causes more harm than good. I have yet to see it cause any actual harm at all...
