Help with R/E

Would fire or air be better? I have a bow in which I will put a fire or lightning string into. Is conjure flame the same as conjure lightning, except that for the elemental damage? What are the other benfits of each? thanks

all of the conjures are the same damage, though lightning damage has armor pircing damage which can help against warriors

All depends on your targets armor. If their wearing anti air armor, then fire. Anti-fire, then air.

Conjure Lightning or a Shocking bow do not have an inherent armour piercing. Only the Lightning spells do that. Just as Conjure Flame/Firey Bows don't set things on fire.
Would be nice but for balance reasons, that's the way it is. Otherwise who would use any conjure apart from Lightning. Hmm...shall I use armour-piercing or no armour-piercing?? Tricky..

Which Ranger attribute are you sacrificing for Elemental use?
