3 quests in the desert

can anyone tell me how i find the 3 quests in the desert?
i went there and didnt find them.

do i do these alone or with a team?

You can find the 3 desert quests in Elona's Reach, Dunes of Despair, and Thirsty River. They are actually missions, though, if the ascension quests are what you are talking about. Go to each town, enter the mission like all other missions(with henches or players), beat them, then go back to Augury Rock and speak with the priest again.

Hopefully you are actually in the Crystal Desert regeion and not in that desolate desert-like area outside Druid's overlook.

This a a link to the Guru Map Project page. You can use it to figure out exactly where you are and where you need to be.

I use it a lot in-game to figure out a good route between areas. You might equate it to having a Rand-McNally book in the car..lol It's good, but it can be a bit trying to look at it and play the game at the same time.

To get the 3 missions click on Great Ritual Priest Zahmut in Augury Rock, until he offers to show you the Mesa at Augury. You'll be teleported and see 3 ghosts that will each give you a different mission.

I've finally made it to this point, but I'm a little confused on one point. After talking to the ghosts and returning to Augury, I don't have any new missions or quests. Not sure if I understood the quests, right, but should I slog off to the east, west, or north and try to find the cities the ghosts mentioned? Once I do, are the missions waiting for me in those cities?

Confusing isn't it? You need to walk (really run like hell) to each location and complete the mission there. The post above has a link to the map. Find Thirsty River / Dunes of Despair & Elonas Reach. You need to find your way to all 3. There's a mission at each location. Once you complete all three go back to the 3 ghosts, stand on each of the magic stones near them, watch the cinema, then kill your mirror self and you will ascend.

Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I was searching for an answer to my question and this was the closest I came. I was in Amnoon Oasis. I talked to the Ghostly hero and got the quest Sand of Souls. I left the town and went out into Prophet Path I believe it was called. I come to a teleport pad, but I can't get it to work. I can't find Priest Zahmut to get my three Crystal Desert quests. Can anyone help me out? I'ts probably painfully obvious, but I am just not getting it. Thanks!

When you stand in the teleport pad, the 4 stones outside will glow in a certain order. Click on the stones in the same order and enter the teleport pad.

Once on the other side, make your way to Augury Rock, where you will get your quests.

Thanks...I finally got a party and someone in the group knew how to do the teleporter. I am now in Augury Rock....whew!
