I got a dwarf armour salavage drop unided
I id it and it said I found the run of minor vigor
How do I "equip" it?

buy an expert salvage kit and use it on the armour

i got a dwarf armor of some minor mesmer rune, and it said i unlocked the item.

i used an expert salvage kit on it and it salvaged a leather square... where's my rune?

You only have a chance to acquire the rune when expert salvaging. The percentage of the chance seems really high for minor runes(70-80%+), so you'll usually get them, but sometimes the item will just salvage into regular crafting materials.
