Yet Another Collector's Edition Thread (It's Different)

So, I really want to get the preorder package just because it rocks, but I'm going to wait until the collector's edition is announced. Will the collector's edition have everything the preorder package does? If not, that is kind of a rip off. Also, do we have any idea when the collector's edition will be announced? If it isn't going to have everything the preorder package does, then I want to order the preorder now.

i doubt very much that the collectors edition will be released at the start of the factions campaign [just my thoughts]. the normal GW collectors wasnt out at the start. Im gonna preorder the normal Factions...not waiting for an anouncement of collectors

Collectors is already announced, and even for presale at GameStop. Anet said they are coming out at the same time as normal retial.

And preordering ANY version of Guild Wars:factions should net you a package so no worries.

Well, ANet hasn't come out officialy and said about a preorder for the CE or what will be in it, so that is what this thread is about. It really isn't good to keep your fans in the dark when they have to make a decision on whether to pay you more money than usual. Also, can you link more than one key up to your account? Maybe you could have 8 slots!

Gaile has said you should get the same preorder whichever version of Factions you order, and that the contents of the CE may be revealed this Friday. She also said that some stores will let you switch your preorder to the CE, you just need to check when you preorder.

GameStop has a list up of CE contents - and Alex or Gaile hasn't denied thats the CE list so it should be close to pretty accurate.
