just a quick one. please give us a market.either Bulletin boardstyle or set up a shop style... we have to stand there shouting out these obscure as hell items in the vain hope that the right person comes along at the right time on the right mission! its a real pain. its the having to tend it all the time to sell thing, why cant u do it a way that makes it possible to be afk while selling? is there some objection to that.
please if u want a market system that works properly please post a reply here. if feeling is strong enough mayber they will develop something
Please give us a proper market system

Agreed. The bazaar in EverQuest 1 worked wonderfully for buying/selling if I have to say so.

I never played EQ (one of the few MMOs I didn't), but the easiest to implement I experienced was in Horizons. It allowed players to list a set number of items at a vendor for any price. When they listed an item, they had to pay 10% of the list price up front which kept people from listing items unnecessarily and removed gold from the economy. When a player purchased something, the money went into the players account (vault in our case). The vendor buy interface allowed for filtering of items (amount, type, etc). Pretty simple setup and at the same time powerful.

That is exactly how star wars galaxy did it. You could post your items at the any player could purchase them and the money was directed right to you... I don't mind the "shouting" the items, but the part that sucks is you have to keep entering the same line over and over again... Is there a way to repeat the last item typed??

Yep. Something THAT NEEDS to be done, ASAP.
Also, on the subject of market system... I checked yesterday and the price of black dye is now selling at the vendor at 3,250 gold. I thought, WOW, every day it goes up about 300-400 gold.
Then realized it is because there is no other way to actually buy something you want other than spamming the airways hoping to actually buy something, much less haggle. Most people are willing to pay whatever sellers want, at the risk of not getting anything. And even faster is to pay the money and go on your way to some vendor.
Think about it. IF you spend even a half hour trying to buy something in some city, spamming with everyone else, that is a half hour you are not making money at all, and most people would rather just pay extra and move on.
This above, along with the fact that money is stupidly easy to attain, and very few gold sinks once you get decent armor and runes, means that (if my economics class data is still accurate) inflation will run out of control, new people will not be able to afford things easily in any way, and by the end of the month... it will cost about 5000+ for 1 bottle of black vial.
This is not good for any game economy IMHO.

As long as theres people to lay out the issues, there will be people in AN to try and solve them. The trade spamming issue was resolved due to people poiniting it out to AN. I agree, the current buy/sell method should be changed and I am optimistic that AN will come through again.

Yea, i think a game such as this really needs a better, more efficient way of trading,a nd buyign and selling, etc, rather than shouting.... it gets anoying some times...
