Runes on gladiator armor?

this is in 2 part question
If i use a rune of absorbtion on gladiator's hauberk will it be global to all my armor or do i need to use Ascalon/ nights armor?

#2 if i have ascalon helm ,superior vigor(global to all my armor) and i have
platemail Cuirass !,If i use Superior absortion on this platemail will it also be global to the rest of my armor" boots helm arms etc. ??

absorption = global and a rune + 1 piece of knights or ascalon stacks

Runes of absorption are global; use only one piece of Ascalon/Knight's armor for further damage reduction.
