Axe/Sword Attack Speed

Since the searching tool is down, I will have to make a new thread.

I have seen sites where all the Bows are posted with their fire-rate/attack speed etc. It's certain that the Short Bow is amoung the fast-shooters.

Are there any particular Axes or Swords that attack much faster? It should work in the same way in my opinion. Short Sword = Fast, Long Sword = Slow.

But how's the deal? Is there a site about this?
I'm an IW Mesmer - usually soloing UW. I need a fast Sword/Axe.

Swords and axes all have the same attack speed as all other swords and axes.
Bows are the only weapon that varies between the types.

I know your question has been answered, but thats the actual numbers on everything apart from bows
