The 4th Sword

Ok ive been playing guild wars 1000+ hours but just recently came to this site, and forum. I have found many different swords, staffs, axes, shields, you name it. But i have never found a sword that matches a set. In game there is the
Fiery Dragon Sword
Icy Dragon Sword
Shocking Plasma Blade
All 3 of those swords have fiery, icy, and shocking hilts. But now i wonder if there is one that is ebon(earth). The plasma is low req and damage but looks good, and i was just wondering if anyone here could provide info on weather or not there was a earth sword such as the ones mentioned above. Ive searched all over THOUGHT i ran everywhere and checked all areas but could be wrong. So any info or a hint in the right direction would be very helpful.

Why would you want one? Earth damage does nothing but lower your damage output vs Rangers; there are no skills available that benefit you when using earth damage.

1) He wants 1 to complete a set

2) Ebon does more damage vs. Warriors and the like.

I believe the shocking plasma blade is in Dragon's Gullet, which is in Ascalon. I have not heard of a sword with a built-in ebon hilt.

Yea i want to get the set of swords, icy, fiery, shocking, and earth. But ive never found the earth one as i run around and look for stuff. and as for the location of the plasma, its a collector somewhere in ascalon, dont want to tell ya exact cause I consider it to be seemingly rare, even tho its a collector item, but not lot of ppl dont have it so ill just leave it like that, so if anyone has a hint to where the ebon sword is it would be awesome, thanks again

Shocking Plasma Blade=behind the alter where you get altheas ashes theres a zone for dragons gullet. after youre in the gullet go left like 100 yards and theres a collector

Lol, you just revealed his amazing secret. You could just find it with GuildWiki or search. Oh and also, I think he is looking for a sword with an INHERENT hilt, like the IDS or FDS. A sword where the hilt can be changed is what he means I believe.

Btw, imonkey, what are you talking about that the Plasma Blade looks cool? It has a cool name but isn't it just a Falchion/Tribal Blade skin? And I wouldn't really consider it rare because most people just think it's like the Bulwark of Balthazar or something, interesting name, crap stats, common skin, etc. And, as far as anybody knows a sword with an inherent Ebon hilt does NOT exist. But hey, who has explored the whole region of Tyria?

Plasma blade has a forked sword skin, not Falchion/Tribal.

Simply put,
the sword you described does not exist at this point in time. You won't find the flashy sword full of shining dirt at the moment.

I remember talking with a friend a while back, right after the Icy Dragon Swords starting appearing. It would seem to make sense that ANet would eventually put in an Ebon and Shocking Dragon Sword. They have already started a trend. All they have to do is complete that trend. It is just a guess, but I feel there is a definite possibillity of seeing Dragon Swords of the other 2 elements.

The skin of the Plasma sword is Crystalline.

You cannot salvage a collector item, but you can find an ebon sword hilt from a drop or try LA or Droks and see if someone is selling one.

i have an ebon plasma blade.
had several of the shocking plasma blades and made a set of plasma blades back a few months ago.

to get the shocking plasma, it is in Dragons Gullet, get the materials you need from the Tar Behemoths....behemoth jaws i think, and trade with the collector on the north west side. I believe you only need 3, so you can solo all the behemoths and get about 4 swords on one run.

but i changed the hilts on 3 of the plasma blades. All sorts of swords have different damage types, just salvage the hilts and mod the plasma blade. I have all, firey plasma blade, icy plasma blade, ebon plasma blade, and the shocking plasma blade. I'd show some SS but im at work atm, and this isnt such a great sword. Just a great name of a sword.

But on topic, there is no inherent ebon mod on any sword that I know of. It's about as realistic as conjure earth (which is to say... it doesn't exist....yet)

plasma blade is just like the shadow blade, usta be very easy to get and looked kewl+had a good name, but they both got practicly nerfed and more difficult to get.

and that is just plain stupid to talk about what you don't know( if you are joking then my bad)
