Farmbots dont where 15k tats. Thats 60k+ more they could have sold on eBay..
Anyways...im pretty angry about this. Ive been saving up for awhile for Necro (still on 27 ecto, 200 vellum) but still its taken me awhile since I rarely farm. Looks like I wont have it til Chap. 2 at latest.
*EDIT* bah 32k+. Still thats quite a bit of *real* money they could have made off eBay. You get my point.

this is so damn unfair

I suppose it's fair, I mean Mesmer's Enchanters, Ranger's Druids, Warrior's Gladiator's and Elementalist's armor always required shards, so I suppose it's a balancing act. I'm saving up for Mesmer FoW armor, so this doesn't directly affect me, but it's still a heck of a lot of gold and time spent hunting for materials. So after I think about it a bit, this change is fair.
The only area I feel where they pulled a typical ArenaNet is how they sneaked that little tweak in there without putting that change on Guildwars.com. That, in my opinion is not right since it is not some tiny little bug-fix, but it affects so many people who had the goal of saving for these two types of armor. Also, ArenaNet needs to go back and remove the 350 Vellum requirement(no clue what to change it to, since 15K requires Vellum), as the former cheapest FoW armor is now the most expensive. But I suppose for the best, people will get over it.
Edit: Hang on...after thinking about it, these types of armor are still 8K a piece, right? 7K cheaper than all other armor. So that right there almost makes up for the cost of Vellum. I'm not sure of the exact going price for Vellum, but the price of Vellum still outweighs the benefit of 8K per piece slightly.
So I guess A-Nets aim here was to make all FoW armor across all professions near equal in price, which is honestly fair.
