Boss "Color" for Geforce mx 4!

I dont know what the exact name is for the color on a boss his body. For like a warrior its yellow, monk is blue, ...
Now, this was not supported for low-end video cards like Nvidia's Geforce mx 4. Now it is!


I don't know how they did it but this is very neat.
I always wanted a color like that to show what kind of boss it is.

Your GF3 is better than the GF4mx line. The GF4mx line is a direct descendant of the GF2 line (i.e. no pixel and vertex shader support to allow this effect). That means they came up with a clever way of making it look similar w/o shaders...

Ive heard a lot of people that they dont see boss colors with it, but I use it and I've always seen the colors.

Or am I mixing some cards up here?

I didn't even know that some people couldn't see the boss colours...that must be horrible.

Durn...and I upgraded from my Geforce 4mx not too long ago...at least my upgrade makes the whole game look better too...
