Muddy Terrain - Nature Ritual
Create a level 1-8 Spirit. For all creatures within its range, all creatures move 10% slower than normal, and speed boosts have no effect. This Spirit dies after 30-78 seconds.

Stormchaser wouldn't work at all. It would be a small slowdown, true, but a slowdown nonetheless.

Very true! We've had to do that with that Yakslapper punk so we could take it down with AoE spells. Gus, if you did that and applied the other techniques mentioned earlier, you'd have my 5k.

@MS - ah, thanks for the clarification. Think it'd be enough to slow someone down?

Well, it would definitely slow someone down. Real question is would it be enough?

Wellllll... if a group of R/Mo encircled you in a wall of spirits and body-blocked the gaps while healing...

Fair enough, but you didn't explicitly say we had to be allies. It's possible to meet in gvg or an arena for this purpose, and ironically I have better tools to keep you alive as your enemy, simply by blocking your spells and e-denial.

I would, of course, need an assistant to be allied to you to keep HB on you.

Does Divine Intervention have any effect? Or does it not trigger because you are not technically dying from damage?

And you've got the right idea, Loviatar. This is purely for entertainment value -- no harm done. What I personally have a problem with is griefers (like a malicious MM that builds up a huge army, stands by the healers/casters, and sacrifices to death only to let the minion army go hostile). But those types of people get reported and don't stay around for long.

@Fungus Amongus - Divine Intervention is an enchantment, and it's blown away with Contemplation of Purity. Even if you had it on, it would only benefit the character up to the max (1 health) and then it'd be spent, so the vampiric weapon would still drain at the same rate and kill the char.

I could still keep you alive

pm obi lou kenobi in game if you want me to prove it (granted, knowing it is a CoP makes it MUCH easier)

Hint: I could keep you alive for exactly 31 seconds

nvm I forgot you would be my ally...but in an arena I could!

The last question on the table is how I dealt with the +hp spirit. That's not an enchantment.
Simply sprint out of the spirit's range? Bring along dodge, storm chaster or escape and lather, rinse, and repeat.

Alexi - the "sprinting out" issue has been solved too. By casting the spirit and body blocking me with group members/spirits.

I think everyone is forgetting something that can make his CoP useless for a few seconds..

Watchful Spirit!

Stripping is own enchants = insta heal!

Just out of curiosity... how many people do you take in a group, do you move at all at the begging, and would you move to somewhere if I asked you to?

Because I get annoyed in certain areas of GW where maps are really annoying because I've gotten trapped between a wall and 1 monster, but why bother if you could have 7 R/Mo that have spirits all around you and just body block you like that. Either way, from that "angry monk" speech, I belive the monk didn't know the game he was playing as well as he thought.

-EDIT- Nice work BTW, thought out and everything, your just sneaky thats all.

@ Aejorii - that instaheal doesn't take away the degen of the vampiric weapon. So the char has 1hp, gets a bunch more from the instaheal. The char is still at 1, so the vamp kills them a milisecond later. Watchful spirit only delays the death by a microscopically small amount of time.

@Gunz Blazing Smile - ya, that's the solution (bodyblocking). Haven't run across a group that's tried that yet. I usually get a group together (lots of ele/n/me for some reason). I tell them they can all try at the same time (group effort is required for the solution). Some people just sit there, others try enchants. It's a lot of fun to see what people will try. And I think that finding the solution so quickly here just goes to show the people on this forum are much, much smarter than the average Joe Guildwars char.

@ Maxiemonster - with bodyblocking too, yes.

Watchful Spirit. When you contemplate it, it'll heal you before the vamp weapon kills you.

Kariston the Swift - please see my reply above to Aejorii. To illustrate this further:

1. Char has 1/1 health
2. Someone casts Watchful Spirit on char, and that gives +50hp if the enchantment is stripped.
3. Char switches to -1 vampiric weapon. Only has +1 health regen.
4. Char casts Contemplation on self, kills the enchantment.
5. Char gets +50hp, but the max health is 1, so the char's health stays at 1.
6. Vampiric weapon still does -1 health degen.
7. Char drops dead.

Whoo hoo! I'd pay 2-5k to get power leveled 7 levels. However: it only works when I'm with you and doing something (healing you, attacking monsters, etc).

Oh, and I don't know if I mentioned this before or not, but when someone has 1 health and casts infuse health or tries to sac health, it does nothing. Infuse health gives 0 health to the other ally, and keeps the char's health at 1/1. I wonder if Illusion of Weakness would do the same thing...

I will take your bet.
Spellbreaker would prevent you from casting anything on yourself. Spellbreaker + arcane echo = long enough a spellbreaker to get me past that 15 seconds. Another thing, divine intervention may help. Lets see...
With 2 people ,just add in a r/mo and slap on more enchants and symbiosis (as well as fertile season )

With 1 person -
Mending
Healing Breeze
Protective bond
Reversal of Fortune
Divine intervention
Whatever that protection enchant is that gives xtra life
Spell breaker at the end of cast cycle
+Arcane echo at the end of cast cycle

This would prevent him from casting CoP on himself while keepin his hp high enough (with high enough a regen) that he wouldn't be able to do anything about it : )

Couldn't you also like, have someone continuously sac themselves and get a minion army up, and then have that person sac themself again to get a well up? That should work long enough to get the 15 seconds, so long as you can keep your minion army alive... two N/Mo's should be able to do it. One with the 55 HP build, and the other with Vengeance or Unyielding Aura, as well as the MM/Wells build. Have the 55 Sac himself once to get down to 1 health, then equip a vamp weapon. BR the MM first (if you can) and then have the 1 health person kill himself with the vamp, minion, res, dead, minion, res, dead, minion, res, dead, minion, res... etc as long as you can keep up with the steady stream of energy (maybe a 3 person team? 1 person Mo/N, other N/Me for echo or E/N for energy, and the saccer). Once you get your army up, then have the saccer kill himself again, body block the guy, and set up the regen well. That should work enough to keep him alive for 15 seconds. Or so I'd think, its just a matter of keeping your minions alive for long enough.

Edit: Sorry for the random, unordered post... I was typing while I was thinking, so thats how my thought process went

one the R/Mo
one the Monk casting the rez spell Ench that instantly kills u

use the gear to die instantly, then on your other account u use the rez skill Enchantment and die instantly as u take it right off

Umm, we already solved this... he uses Contemplation of Purity to drop all the enchants on him, has max Sup runes to drop his health to 1, and then a vamp weapon to kill himself.

I'm not here to take people's money. Besides, the answer to this problem has already been provided in this thread, so I'm not going to bet anyone here anyway.

And to those that think that it's possible to sacrifice yourself to death with this build in less than 15 seconds, it doesn't work that way. Sacrificing health rounds up to the nearest whole number, so when I try to do a spell like infuse health, I lose nothing and the other ally gains nothing. Other sac spells are nullified too.

I know, thats why you have a 55 build set up... and then when you res, have the -50 cesta with a vamp axe/sword or something as your secondary equipment. So you just res, and die. Also... you said that it was up to the people doing it when the timer starts

If you're talking about my build... no. Its 3 characters... all 3 necros preferably. One's got a 55 build, with a regular wand on F1 and a vamp axe/sword on F2... both with the -50 cesta as offhand. 55 Sac's himself for the first death, MM makes minion, the other N/Mo resses the saccer (he has 1 health now) so he just switches to the vamp weapon and lets that kill him repeatedly (like the guy who's trying to kill himself is doing). Then, once they amass a big enough army to trap him... the sac/vamp guy kills himself again and they set up the well of blood to give him +regen... so he won't die. Pretty simple, or so I'd think. It'd just depend on keeping the minions alive long enough.
