Holy Crap, there is just no pleasing some people. All along they could have just followed the "Harry Potter' model and given us the 'big chopstick, music conductor' wands with different names. Or the 'Hedge wizard walking through the forest, walking stick staff..they are wands and staves as much as any other. ArenaNet seems bound and determined to NOT rest on there laurels and NOT be bound by traditional design and ideas. We get at least 4 more designs for a common weapon in a game that hasn't yet stopped giving us new stuff 1 year after release, in the middle of rolling out another FULL GAME. They give us these little extras, just because they are gamers too and know they are appreciated. Just appreciate the little things for what they are, because you will for damn sure miss them when they stop coming

The original air staff is ok tho because it makes sense having lightning in a staff, which is basically what the tin-cap look does lol.

Nope i still have some drop with that Lantern skin. But its true that these new skins seems to drop a lot.

A friend had the new air staff skin drop for him. It's not max, but I really like the look. Actually, they all look nice except for the earth staff---it's rather blah.

They look better than they ugly old wooden stick staves we did have. What I really want though is beautiful staff art. Why is that so hard? These are better, even if they are just stretched wand art.

They did this so if we have a Collectors Staff, it looks different and shows others "oh I got this at a collector" and stuff.
