Desperately trying to keep up with load right now...

All right, I am desperately trying to keep up with the server load right now. Apparently we aren't the only ones experiencing problems as I see GWO and even Guild Wars is having some of their own.

Goodness. I keep getting the database error thing but after a few tries threads and things are managing to load up.

3818 users online when I just looked a second ago. That's soaring over the last record of 3026.

Maybe it has something to do with the login errors loads of people are getting on the game right now...lots of people hopping onto the forums to find out about it. Anyway, all this activity must be really straining the server.

If it is the case, hopefully the login problems will be resolved and the panic will die down so the server can breathe a sigh of relief

EDIT: 4103 and rising *hides under the table to shelter from earthquake*

EDIT 2: I count 1, 2, 3, 4 threads about the login errors - one in Q & A, one in Technical Forum, and two in Riverside.

EDIT 3: Connection problems gone, everyone is getting back on the game. Hopefully the number of users on the forum will start to fall rapidly.
