if you put a fire rune into a fire eye... would it work?

fire eye already has fire magic +1,
if u put a minor fire rune into it would the fire eye give you +2 (1+1)?

if you put a superior rune into the fire eye, would it give you +4 (1+3)?

or would the effects be negated? cos the eye already has fire magic on it

Yes it will work, there was a bug a few months ago that prevented this, but it works properly now.

it works, I did much the same with my captain's helm of swordsmanship.
