So if you are a ranger you can only use Ranger Runes?

yes, that's true.

You can only use runes for your first prof. You can boost the attribs from the other profession by skills like "awaken the blood" etc.

Vigor runes can be used by all.

Only warriors can use absorption.

Oh that sucks :/ So you can't use runse to boost secondary skills eh

Not runes, but there are certain skills that boost attribs.
