I'd like to know the reasoning on renaming it. Chitin sounds a lot cooler, as it's been in other RPGs. I'm just wondering why they felt the need to rename Shells.

Maybe they renamed it because there will be different types of shells as crafting items in Factions? Even if that's the case, "Chitin Fragment" is a bit long :P
If anyone can go to a Materials Trader and see if shells are gone and "Chitin Fragment" is in its place, we'll know for sure whether it is a new item or not. If nobody has posted on that when I get home, I'll put up an SS or two.

LOL, when I thought of 'shells' I also thought of the beach. I had to look up what 'chitin' meant, but my first thought was 'excrement' or 'partially digested item' before I read the definition (exoskeleton of a crustacean, spider, or scorpion).
