Keep Elemental Resistance, Watch Yourself, Dolyak Signet, and Defy Pain on at all times. Stance equipment is great here because you'll be in a stance the entire time. I used a Grognar's Defender and a Zealous Long Sword of Warding.

The main credit for this goes to Dont Feel No Pain because this started out as me being too lazy to go W/Mo and try his build, so i made the W/Me counter part. I'm not sure if this has been posted before but the search function is disabled so i couldn't check.

So far i've gotten about 50 hydras claws and a few golds with this build, so i'm not doing too bad. The most hydras i've taken at once was 7, and was no trouble at all.

My IGN is Emery Zane is you have any questions, comments, or just feeling like spamming me whispers. I'll have a W/N, W/R, and W/E versions of this up soon i hope, gotta test some things out first.

Thanks,

Emery

You have 12 in swordsmanship and not a single sword skill.....

the swordsmanship is there to get the full damage out of your weapon, you can always get tactics up to 16 for a stronger riposte/deadly riposte and strength up higher for a longer dolyak.

meh, the only thing the sword needs to be used for is adrenaline!

Try this:
Attributes:
8 inspiration
12(11+1) strength
14(11+3) tactics (sup rune)

Skills:
For Great Justice!
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Gladiotors defense {E}
Doylak signet
Elemental resistance
Watch yourself!
Healing Signet

Strategy:

Put on elemental resistance about like 5 secs before battle
Put doylak on right before you get baraged with meteors
Use For great justice and start hacking away at one
Riposte, Deadly Riposte, Watch yourself, Healing Signet
Gladiators Defense
Once glads runs out switch back to elemental resistance.
Riposte, deadly riposte until they die, and maybe glads if you want

Tip:

Use Riposte and Deadly Riposte at the same time for burst damage on the same target. It seems to kill them faster, at least to me.

Only use healing signet when you have BOTH doylak and watch yourself up.

I can do about 6 at a time with a little struggle... and I'm not that good of a farmer (I normally do about half of what people say they can do)

the exact same skill list i posted w/ 12 strength and 14 tactics works well, but i still think that having the swordsmanship makes it go faster.

anybody try this yet?

Best so far is 8 Hydras at once for me. Thats only because I can't find any more in the surrounding area to get together.

This is my build which is very easy.

W/Mo

Flurry
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Watch Yourself
Dolyak Signet
Healing Hands {E}
Live Vicarously
Balth Spirit

Healing 8
Swordsmanship 9 (+1)
Strength 10 (+1)
Tactics 13 (11+1+1(helm))

Precast both Live Vicarously and Balth Spirit before entering battle. Spam all the first 5 skills and only use Healing Hands when your about less than 150~200 health. You'll find you only need to use it when in battle with more than 4 hydras. Also try to get Dolyak up before any meteors hit you. Using a Zealous Sword helps ALOT. I also use the collectors stance shield from the desert.

Nothing new about this I was using the war/me setup on hydras since the update that included the Ids and the solo ice imps builds.

i use this and it works perfectly and have tryed it out on as many hydras as i could bu ling as much as i could..
btw: epidemic is getting better and better... 2 updates both gave it a faster recharge and a lower energy cost so it keeps getting better and better

sever artery
gash
epidemic
victory is mine!
dolyak signet
watch yourself
healing signet (in case VIM is not ready)
elemental resistance

this build doesn't require a sort of armor or weapons

i use glads armor with ascalon helm
attributes:

12 tactics (helm + sup)
12 strentgh (minor)
12 swordsmanship (minor)
3 inspiration

sup vigor + sup absorption but it's not neccesary
sword: zealous or icy further no requirements
shield: dmg -2 while in stance, health + 45 while in stance
