A: I have not flamed. I've joked on a few threads, but nothing nasty.
B: I haven't bumped jack. I did it ONCE on the trade forums and stopped (and never sold anything else).
C: I haven't bid on anything w/o putting my IGN in the post and valid bid amounts.
D: And I've been warned to read the guidelines enough? UHHHHH. I believe once I was sent a PM about the trade forum bumping (and I stopped).
FEEL FREE to explain this nonsense. I have done nothing bad and have contributed plenty in the screeny forum. I even sent e-mails asking about why I was banned. No response. I didn't deserve to be banned for ONE HOUR, let alone 2 effing weeks. I'd be more than happy to just go to gwonline.net and post there as it seems you don't give a rats ass about your community members here.

This isn't a "new" account it's the same damn one. I DID NOT DO ANYTHING WRONG. Can I make it clearer? It was a 2 week ban totally out of the clear blue. I don't have any other accounts on this forum, nor will I be making a second.

This being a private matter, all I'll say here is that our temp bans/suspensions are given on a 3 strikes system.
Every infraction is documented methodically, with links to the violating post.
Temp bans are given to people to give them a cool-off period so that they can consider the rules/guidelines.
As a more specific word, flaming might not be the right word, so much as trolling/flamebaiting, which is still moddable.
Anything else, I suggest you discuss in PM's politely with a moderator who can actually see the violations in the forums you were moderated in, which is primarily the Sell forums.

I have closed the thread because I do not have the feeling that any further insights can be generated from discussing this administrative action. Naturally, if you are temporarily banned, you feel this to be unjustified. On the same note, we obviously felt it important to emphasize that we have forum rules that need to be observed. This is primarily due to the fact that this forum welcomes individuals of all ages and backgrounds that may find different matters inappropriate.
I am not going to address all of your claims at this point. However, when you write that you never flamed, I ask you to call somebody significant in your life a 'whining lazy RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GO without skills' (you will remember your post, you changed a letter to a number in order to circumvent the swear filter) and see how that person reacts. Personally, I would not expect many bright smiles after such a statement.
You threaten to take your business elsewhere. That is a choice you will have to make. Guild Wars Guru is no business, it is a free fan community that aims to provide joy to all. If you feel you can no longer be part of it, you will be missed, but life will go on.
On the bright side, you could just accept that we strive to protect the community from rule breakers and start enjoying the forum while keeping the rules a bit better in mind.
