One of the things that I find annoying is that I can never tell the exact range of some of the point blank area of effect spells.
It would be nice if for spells like Rain of Fire and other similar steps a ground indicator would show up to let players know exactly what mobs are going to be hit by the range of the spell/skill.

That's what I like about Well of Blood for the Necro. You know that if you step outside the circle the AoE healing stops working. It would be nice to have some sort of boundary to determine where it will hit. As my Necro/Monk I hate wasting a Heal Area that doesn't hit anyone because I thought they were in range...
