Anyone read the IGN Guild Wars review?

It was IMO the best review ive read about Guild Wars, it presented a very non-biased stance toward the game and gave the good and the bad about it. Most of these reviews ive read have not said ONE negative thing and I hate that about most reviewers. Guild Wars deserves the high score, but it is not the perfect game and has its share of annoyances.

Anyway, score one good review for IGN.

Gamespy had alot of negative in there review I thought given how high they rated the game.

I did not read gamespy yet, although they usually have very good reviews. I will have to check that one out.

As I said, theres alot of annoyances, all simple things that could be fixed with a little effort, but over-all its a great game.

i think they are getting the foundation really solid then taking care of patching the small cracks so to speak

i wont even start to make a firm evaluation until it has been live for at least 6 months.

so far i am very happy and i expect it to only improve (maybe a bump or 3 or 5 but........ )

I agree, but I always think its the simple things that make the game more enoyable. Emotes directing at people instead of everyone... guild ranks instead of 3 groups... being able to jump even if it does not allow you to jump on anything.

I agree. GameSpy was unnecessarily harsh. It's like they reviewed it based on what they expected it to be rather than for what it is.

Hmm, I just read the review and I really didn't see anything too negative that they said. They really just told there opinion.. and most of it I agree with really.
