As always I'm sorry if this has been discussed before but I noticed that if you pick 8 henchies from ToA it is possible to map to at least Sanctum Cay and Fishermen's Haven (but for example Bergen is not) and have them all still with you. Thereafter it is possible to use them in missions and quests.
Can anyone else confirm this? I have already reported this to Anet or so I believe.
Possible henchmen exploit
Karmaniac
Numa Pompilius
Yeah, it's known. People used to run from ToA with 7 henches to get a full team in Sanctum Cay, now they can just map there. It's a very minor exploit.
However, if you find a way of getting level 20 henches from Droknars to Lions Arch, THEN you should definitely PM me.

Seeing as you can run this mission its not a big deal. If it was a mission you accually had to play through they would have changed it.
I don't think this is very high up on their to do list.

Whenever it's me and a full party of henchies, and I map to a random outpost, sometimes two of the henchmen drop out and I have to go and recruit them again to refill up my party. Has anybody else noticed this happening to them? It happens even when travelling between areas with the same amount of party size.

Makes sense. Probably the one thing I never bothered to consider.

This happens a lot, just entering a town you can lose one or two henchies. We've noticed it's usually Thom that's AWOL and we think he is stopping for a drink. He sometimes talks Dunham or Claude into joining him. As a guildmate said, "after all, he is a known deserter".
