Ascetic FoW Now needs Shards?

someone from my group sayd that after the update Ascetic FoW armor for a Monk now needs shards? is that true or just a rumor?

ya but i mean thats nto fair, basicly ppl who bought the FoW armor be4 the update got it like 400k cheaper?

To me its fair. Just think about all of the other armor sets.

Yeah but ascetics requiers vellum and shards now making it the most expensive armour to get.(I think)

This is why i think its been implemented:

1. Monks + Necs can go UW duo farming, possibly the best source of cash in the game.
2. Monks + Necs get the cheapest fissure armour.

Doesn't sound so fair on the other pros does it?

so does it need JUST shards, vellum and ecto now?

Really it is only going to affect a handful of people now because of the new Factions update coming. People are saving everything for a new armor. Maybe a new FoW armor in some kind of Asian aspired design.

Dunno why it didn't need shards in the first place. Of course tattoo armor needs to be cheaper to craft but it was already at 8k. Why the implemented it now is a mystery...

Ascetics is actually lb for lb the most expensive armor, don't let the armor craft cost being cheaper overall fool ya.

Drok ascetics = parchments = 70-80per or have to craft it w/ alot of wood. I believe you need about 200 total parchments for a full set, thats 4 stacks of wood and 4k to craft 200 parches to be used w/ armor that requires 800g per piece, think about it and its actually more expensive.

15k ascetics then requires a much more expensive vellum and 8k per, again the most expensive

Fow Ascetics........wow, glad I got mine early, 120 shard increase in price... Guess energy really is the deciding factor on cost. Wonder how a +5 energy warr weapon upgrade would cost if they included it...

Anyway, too bad for the people who didn't get theirs early, theres always next chapter for you guys, or think about having 120 ecto to spare going into a new game.
