Dmg +18% vs trolls-- u may not get it though as when salvaging its random what ya get. (Steel/ Iron or 1 of the 2 mods)

But if it were to work out as you said, what would I salvage? Sry for being stupid, I got this game a few days ago.

Its random what u get.. it would be 1 of the 4 and u just have to get lucky for the 1 u want.

Honestly, I would just merchant it.

Why merchant? I mean i could prolly sell it for 1k or so, dont you think?

Hammers are one of the hardest things to sell since nobody really uses them so good luck trying to sell it, you might be able to get 1k (maybe) from a nub in Ascalon
