I appologize if this has already been discussed. I did search and didnt see any topics on the subject.
Now that Order of the Vamp has been nerfed I've been wondering whether bringing and orders necro on b/p tombs runs is really justified. They're still useful, but certainly not as much as they used to be, yet they still take up that spot that could be going to some other character. So I wanted to know if anyone has experimented and come up with a better use of this slot.
Some untested thoughts: Having another ranger certainly is a possibility and could make up for the damage lost to giving up orders. I also wonder whether a dedicated mes or some sort of interupt character could work. I know life would certainly be easier for the mm and monk if they didnt have to worry about enemy interupts and meteor showers.

Hmm, Well one idea is to use a Me/E using meteor/meteor shower and Cry of frustration.

In an ideal situation, even one orders up means +19 damage (assuming blood 16 + awaken of blood) * 5 (barrage arrows) * 5 (rangers) = 475 damage. On the other hand, a ranger has 28 (15-28 bow) + 17 (barrage 16 mark) + 6 (favorable winds) + 4 (winnowing) = 55*5 (barrage arrows) = 275 damage. That doesn't even include the defensive benefits of the orders necro helping out the monk with Blood Ritual/Blood is Power/Succor and maybe even heals with Heal Other/Heal Party/Heal Area.
