I'm mucking about Lion's Arch at level 15, and just trucked up to Bergen to upgrade my armor. And it occured to me, there seems to be a real lack of sword drops to this point. Tons of hammers and axes from the Charr and Stone Summit, but I'm still using the 10-14 dwarf-killer sword I bought in Yak.
Am I just unlucky? Is there a particular MOB or area around Lion's Arch (or before) that I should focus on to get a decent sword? I can buy the 13-19 giant killer from the outfitter in Lion's Arch, but I always hear that the best weapons are drops.
(Is it a conspiracy to make us buy a flame sword from one of the screamers on the trade chat?)

Your just unlucky, I get about an equal amount of drops from everything, but certain areas do seem to drop alot more of certain items. I can't think of any place that drops a majority of swords however. Your best bet is to buy something off of a player, if you don't want a fiery sword, maybe try back in Ascalon where people try to peddle there less then uber items.

Thanks. I did a little grinding (very little actually) with the Lightning Drakes south of Kryta Gate and found a brilliant max damage sword with two enchantments. Although another post on the board here convinced me I should try axe and I'm digging that too.
