Im pretty new to GW, have a Me/?? (mo atm), ascended, yadda yadda. Ive looked around, and it appears that IW builds are mostly pvp oriented. Are they viable for solo farming? I know what i wanna do in pvp, and being a tank isnt it, but for farming it seems it might be useful.
Maybe i can get another small question answered here-is it worth it to buy keys for all those chests? Seems pricey at 600g/key.
IW builds-PVP only?

Never tried it, but would IW + Cyclone Axe work?

IW + Cyc works, you just have to stay alive long enough to capitalize on hitting a huge pack of mobs

IW is a hellafun skill in pve. you just need to take other skills designed to keep yourself alive, then even warriors must bow to you. i loved IW

A bit risky in a full team (you REALLY don't want to pull the aggro off the tank with your low armor) but plenty of farming builds use it. The reason I don't run it in a team is because I would have to melee the mobs, and a level 24 mob can punch through my armor and kill me in a matter of seconds.

I use IW sometimes when in a group that I think aggro might fall back to me
When monsters get close I switch to a sword with +enchant and my rockmolder...a few seconds later and baddies are dead, and my tank doesn't feel the need to pull everything else back just to help out. I really hate it when they come back to "help out" and bring everything else back too.
It works great against the new scarab queen. She can put gaurdian up all she wants and it is still 42 dmg per hit (44 if rockmolder kicks in), and since her attacks really only tickle a little you don't have to worry about taking mad damgage.
