Ellie, best setup

Hi there, have got an ascended W/Mo, however, found out that this at the mo :wink: does not seem to be the most wanted character.
So from the two option, Nuker or Monk, I elected the new character to become an Ellie/Ranger.
What would be the most useful magic for going into the UW, because at the moment I am concentrating on fire.
Also, what would be the best weapon (using fire-wand (gold) at the moment) to go with the advised magic??

From what I know, in PvE fire magic is still the most popular.. with a good tank that knows how to deal with the aggroing a double meteorstorm still wipes the enemies before they can react. I would suggest you to try Elem/mesm when you have a chance to change secondary prof, archane echo and res. mantra really help a caster. About weaponry, Rago's set is for sure one of the best equipment you can find.. if you look for a better gold set be prepared to spend quite a lot of bucks.
